OMG! This evening I’m watching a PBS special, “Marvin Hamlisch Presents the ’70s – The Way We Were.” Among the performers were Three Dog Night singing “Mama Told Me Not to Come.” And while their moves were a bit stiff, they can still sing! They sounded great and it was soooooo much fun to hear them sing their biggest hit. They took the song down a bit, keywise, and that was a smart thing to do ’cause they were able to hit the notes! There was no screeching and out-of-tune singing! Oh, TDN was a hot group back then and I loved their music!
