Back in the 1970s, I was a huge fan of Michael Johnson and his music. One of my favorite record albums was “The Michael Johnson Album,” which featured Michael’s breakthrough hit, “Bluer Than Blue.” One of the lesser played songs was one of my favorite standards, “Almost Like Being in Love,” which Michael sang in a completely different yet very exotic arrangement. The song was digitally remastered in 2002.
