Music and singing have always been a part of my life, thanks to my beloved parents! My mom was a professional singer; my dad was an electronics engineer as well as my mom’s music manager. My mom taught me the art of singing; I inherited her vocal talent and for that, and so much more, I am forever grateful.

I studied classical piano and received my B.A. in Music Education from California State University, Fullerton. But I have always preferred singing over playing the piano because singing comes more naturally to me. And it’s easier, too!

After I graduated from CSUF, I taught private piano and private voice. I also performed in nightclubs in Southern California, and cabaret shows, dinner theatre and community theatre in Northern California.

My favorite music genres include Big Band tunes, the great American standards, and jazz.

My latest CD, “Love for Christmas,” was released in November 2008. I recorded this CD in honor of and continued love for my beloved parents. I still miss them very much.

My day job is that of a legal secretary. I work for two of the nicest attorneys and do enjoy my job very much.
